What is Hollow Cocoon? The game is a scary adventure set in 1980s Japan, played from a first-person perspective. Join Minato Jinba, a college student, as he returns to his mother’s hometown after receiving distressing news about his grandmother’s health. Stay hidden from the monster and collect important evidence to uncover the terrifying truth hidden beneath the surface! Minato Jinba is a university student who lives in a boarding house in the city, away from his parents.
One night, Minato’s father, Eiji, gives him distressing news. Minato’s grandma, Kinu Miyama, is very sick. He sets off on a trip to Ichinose, a village in the mountains where his mother was born. Minato hadn’t seen his grandmother in more than ten years and felt an intense anger towards her. Minato’s disdain grew stronger when she refused to attend her daughter’s funeral. Minato remembers his chat with his grandmother while riding the bus on a country road.
